Dun, Dun, Dunnnnn! ((What will happen next? Hope you all enjoyed part 1 of my Kuroshitsuji fanfic.))
It was pitch black as I stepped into the mansion. That was when I decided I would turn around and go back. The dare my friends had given me was way to drastic, I thought. I turned on my heel. SLAM! The doors shut. I tried opening them, but they wouldn't budge. Now how am I gonna get out of here? Anything could pop up.
Suddenly, something grabbed my arm. I started to scream, but it covered my mouth. The white silhouette of a hand pointed its index finger up to the silhouette of pale lips that peeked through the darkness.
"Shhh. We wouldn't want to disturb my master's rest," said the stranger in a thin British accent. I had no idea anyone even lived here! I had a headache, and my heart was racing. The stranger took my hand and started walking forward. I followed the sound of his footsteps, barely awake.

New On-going Story... Don't Know the Title Yet...
Chapter 1
Ka-thump! Ka-thump! The beat of my heart blended in with the sound of horses' hooves on the cold, dirt road. I was running as fast as I could, but the soldiers, with their steeds and dogs, were only a few yards behind me. And gaining. Up ahead, I spotted a moonlit pond. It was surrounded by tall weeds, and short, gnarly trees. Little did I notice that the trees' roots stretched further than the cattails. My foot caught on a root, and I went rolling towards the edge of the pond, covered in grass and unexpected bristles. 'There's no point,' I thought. Hot, dirty tears welled up in my eyes, and I began to weep.
"She's over here!" A soldier called. Not a second later, I heard barks and neighs.
I leaped into the pond. It was my only choice. Either that, or I would be captured, and brought back to the palace. The chaos got louder and louder as the group got closer and closer. I opened one eye. Phew! It was dark, and, my eyes started to burn, but I gazed around the bottom of the pond. A cluster of bubbles brushed my arm. Swiveling around as quickly as one can in water, I came face to face with a wide cavern. I kicked my feet and swam in. The darkness inside was dense. How long had I been holding my breath? About a minute? I could feel my lungs being emptied of air, and kicked faster. 'Can't breath…' I started to panic, and thrashed around. 'Can't…breath.' My vision was blurred, and all I could do was wiggle forward… forward… forward… Spots dotted everywhere. I gritted my teeth.
Suddenly, the water got shallower, and I found myself resting my hips on smooth, stone ground. Hoof steps thundered above. I gasped, taking in staggered breaths of air. My mouth was dry, I was exhausted, and… 'sleep'.
*****
"Owww!" I groaned and touched my forehead tenderly. A small bump was starting to form. I stretched and yawned, lifting my weary body off the slippery floor. Small bits of morning light were peeking through the formerly dark water. From where I stood, I could spot the sun. It was illuminating the teal pond water, and all of its contents. For a moment, I thought I had stepped into some sort of underwater paradise. There was muck and rotting vegetation; but even so, an indescribable beauty filled it.
I sighed, and headed toward the mouth of the cave. What lay there had to be better than the gross dungeon cell that was reserved [just for me] at the diamond palace. I smirked. 'How considerate!'
It seemed like hours before I reached a bend in the cave. 'Hoo-rayyyyy!' I thought, doing a sarcastic victory dance. I turned the corner, sighed once more, and resumed walking. My stomach rumbled in complaint.
After it had actually been hours, my feet were sore, I was hungry, and I was tired. So I sat down on a nearby rock. I groaned. How many hours had I been in the cave? What time was it? My family was probably sitting down to a dinner of biscuits, roasted pork, and stewed potatoes right now. I could almost smell it- which only made my stomach sound more like a herd of braying elephants, than a roaring dragon. My hand went to my heart, and lump formed in my throat. I started making weird choking noises.
"Huuuuuuuh!" I wailed silently. "Wh-uaaa-yy?!" I curled up on the ground, and closed my eyes. "Wh-y?" Sleep claimed my body.
Chapter 2
It was a regular Sunday morning in the Badour household. My sister, Colette, and I helped each other get dressed, then we went out to the garden to stroll around. Mother stuck her head out the back door, and scolded us "not to get dirty in your Sunday best." That only encouraged Colette to romp around some, until Mother called for us to get our parasols, and head to church. She noticed Colette's shenanigans and furrowed her brow.
"Oh no!" Colette whispered to me in mock terror. "It's the dragon, and she's going to eat us!" I stifled a laugh, which concluded in a snort. I wouldn't trade my mother for the world; but she can be very hot-tempered.
It was a fine day, so Father and Mother made us walk. I didn't mind, though. The sky was free of clouds, and the sun shone hot on our backs. Thankfully, a sweet, spring breeze came along every now and then to cool us off.
As the pastor droned on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnd onnnn about sinning, the history of the medieval Roman Catholic churches, and stuff like that, Colette and I shared funny looks, and playfully nudged elbows. Thank God we weren't in the front row.
I itched at my corset. 'When will this ennnnd?' I nagged myself. The lacing was too tight, so I tried loosening it. Unfortunately, Mother noticed my wiggling, and jabbed me in the ribs with her elbow. I gasped.
"That's a warning," she hissed in my ear. I sighed.
As soon as we got out of church, I jumped in the air, and kicked my heels together.
"Yippee!" I cried. Colette patted her stomach.
"I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse!"
"Make that a dragon!" I chirped.
